Apparently The New York Way means flexible and surprising, because we’re going to change it up. 
 
Unfortunately Daniel Cohen, the saxophonist we had announced, can’t make it. But not to worry, they’ve sent us a fantastic replacement: Ben Fitzpatrick. He is an Irish saxophonist who, under mentorship of Joe Temperley (Duke Ellington Orchestra) and Ted Nash (Thad Jones/Mel Lewis) has been very successful in the US and has performed in Carnegie Hall. 
Now he lives in Cologne, Germany, where he is a fixed member of the WDR Big Band and a saxophone professor at Folkwang University of the arts in Essen.
 
Joan Fort is a Spanish guitarist and composer based in Amsterdam. Despite his young age, he has already forged an extensive international career, performing across Europe, the USA, and India. Fort has shared the stage with world-class musicians including Dick Oatts, Jeremy Pelt, Vincent Herring, Grant Stewart, Jorge Rossy, Bill McHenry, Benjamin Herman, Michael Weiss, Jasper Blom, Rita Payés, and Virginia MacDonald.
